New Year's Eve

     How do you spend New Year's Eve? I eat toshi-koshi-udon with my family every year. In Japan, we often eat toshi-koshi-soba, but in Kagawa we often eat udon. I hope 2021 will be a wonderful year as well.

My favorite food

     My favorite food is udon. My hometown, Kagawa, is famous for Sanuki udon. In Kagawa, the number of udon restaurants are more than that of convenience stores. It is natural to go to a udon shop for lunch in Kagawa. In addition, some people eat udon in the morning. I rarely eat udon from the morning, but I often eat it for lunch. When you visit Kagawa, please eat udon!

New year

      Happy new year! Did you go to "Hatsumode"? "Hatsumode" is the first visit to shrine in the new year. Did you eat Japanese New Year Food? It is called "Osechi" in Japanese.      I want to leave such a wonderful traditional culture of Japan to the future!

2020

      There were many things in 2020. I took the University entrance exam in January and February. I would go to university from April, but I couldn't because of the spread of the coronavirus infection. From October, I could go to university. And 2020 is about to end. It was a great year!
